Hæ there! I’m Eline van Aalderink, a Dutch/Icelandic marine biologist who left tulips behind for the lava fields of Iceland, where I found my place among whales and puffins. By day, I’m a research coordinator and naturalist guide at a whale-watching company in Reykjavík. By night (or when the weather insists), I write books that combine the depth of science with the charm of picture books - sprinkled with salty humor and heartfelt stories to inspire ocean conservation.
